Meet Our Clinicans

Kristin, our Senior Speech Pathologist and Director.

Kristin brings over a decade of experience in supporting adults with developmental, acquired, and degenerative conditions. She has worked across Australia and the UK, supporting adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.

Kristin graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2014 with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). She is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and an active member of Speech Pathology Australia, committed to providing quality, person-centred care.

Kristin has a special interest in management of dysphagia (swallowing), Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), neurodegenerative conditions (Parkinson’s, MND, MS), acquired neurological conditions (stroke, brain injury), age-related conditions (Alzheimer’s disease, dementia) and conditions connected to mental health.

Kristin provides clinical supervision to speech pathologists throughout Australia. Whether in-person or via telehealth, she offers flexible and supportive sessions tailored to help clinicians enhance their skills and confidence in practice.

Louise, experienced Speech Pathologist.

Louise has a special interest in adult neurorehabilitation, including working with people living with Parkinson’s disease, stroke, brain injury and dementia. Her background in aged care has further strengthened her understanding of complex communication and swallowing needs in later life. She is committed to delivering holistic, person-centred care and enjoys working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support clients in achieving their goals.

Alongside her adult practice, Louise also brings experience supporting children with fussy eating, speech-sound disorders, stuttering, literacy and communication challenges, oral-motor concerns, and orofacial myofunctional therapy. This breadth of practice has enriched her clinical perspective and contributes to her flexible, whole-person approach to assessment and therapy.

Louise believes in a collaborative, evidence-based approach and is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve meaningful, functional outcomes across the lifespan.

Sophia, our Senior Speech Pathologist.

Sophia is an experienced Speech Pathologist with over 10 years working across acute care, neurorehabilitation, and community settings in Australia and the UK. She currently works part-time with Newcastle Neuro, supporting adults with complex neurological conditions, alongside her ongoing work in acute and inpatient neuro settings.
